The dogs go through four general levels of training before they are partnered with an assistance dog recipient. Just like human students, the dogs progress through elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. Here are some of our current students!

ReplyDeleteThis is why several universities in the U.S. have stopped teaching gorillas and other primates American Sign Language in doctoral theses. Once the studies are over the animals are returned to cages in the zoo. emotional support dog letter
